Job Guide

Jobs are one of the main ways to earn extra money while playing on CampCraft. They are designed to reward normal survival gameplay without replacing the server sell shop. The shop is still the main source of income, while Jobs give you a steady bonus for doing activities you already enjoy.

You can join jobs such as Miner, Woodcutter, Farmer, Fisherman, Hunter, Digger, Builder, Crafter, Brewer, Enchanter, Explorer, and Weaponsmith.

How Jobs Work

Each job rewards you for specific actions. For example, Miners earn money from mining certain blocks, Woodcutters earn money from chopping logs, and Farmers earn money from harvesting crops.

Jobs are balanced carefully so the economy stays fair long-term. Some actions pay more than others depending on how difficult, common, or farmable they are!  Easy-to-farm actions usually pay less, while slower or more active gameplay may pay more.

How to Earn Money with Jobs

To earn money, join a job and do the actions that job rewards.

Example:

  1. Type /jobs browse
  2. Choose Miner
  3. Type /jobs join miner
  4. Mine stone, deepslate, ores, and other rewarded blocks
  5. Sell your items in the shop for the main profit
  6. Earn extra Jobs money as a bonus

Jobs are meant to support your gameplay, not replace selling items. For the best income, combine Jobs with the server sell shop.

Important Economy Notes

CampCraft’s economy is balanced for long-term survival gameplay.

Jobs are not meant to make players rich instantly, they are a bonus system that rewards consistent play. The best way to progress is to gather resources, sell items, complete quests, use player shops, and level your jobs over time!

Some jobs may pay very little for certain actions, this is intentional. Actions that are easy to automate, repeat quickly, or abuse are kept low so the economy stays fair for everyone.

Tips for New Players

Start with Miner, Woodcutter, Farmer, or Fisherman. These are easy to understand and work well for normal survival gameplay.

Use /jobs info <job> before joining a job so you know what actions are rewarded.

Try to choose jobs that match what you already do. If you mine often, join Miner. If you fish often, join Fisherman. If you farm often, join Farmer.

Jobs are only one part of the economy. You can also earn money from the sell shop, quests, player shops, auctions, and voting rewards.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why did I not get paid for an action?

Not every block, item, or action gives money. Use /jobs info <job> to see what that job rewards.

Why does Builder not pay for everything?

Builder is limited to prevent players from placing and breaking blocks repeatedly for unlimited money. This keeps the economy fair.

Can I change jobs?

Yes. You can leave a job with /jobs leave <job> and join another job with /jobs join <job>.

What is the best job?

There is no single best job. The best job is the one that matches how you like to play.

Are Jobs the fastest way to make money?

Nope, Jobs are just extra income! The server sell shop, quests, player trading, auctions, and consistent gameplay all work together as part of the economy.
